Commande r Ivanova, the second -in-command of the station, i s secretl y a late nt telepath wh o has illicitl y avoided reg istering wit h the Psi Cor ps. The Shadows, an ancient a nd extremel y powerfu l race w ho have rece ntly emerged fr om hibernatio n, are reveal ed to be t he cause of a variety of mysterious and disturbing events, including th e attack on t he Narn o utpost at th e end of 2258.
